Dash Cam—Winter Edition

After the huge box office success of my last film titled "Commuting in Santa Fe" (it has had over fifty views so far!!), I have decided to release a Director's Cut sequel titled "Commuting in Santa Fe—Winter".

This new release contains never seen before footage revealing the intimate and often disturbing world of one man's winter commute within Santa Fe County. This critically acclaimed thrill-a-minute feature is both shockingly real and emotionally poignant and will leave audiences questioning their own drive-time and wanting more.

This film is not yet rated but is intended for mature audiences.

  1. This is my critical review as posted in the Los Angeles Times:

Once the film has its claws dug into you or has inveigled you via its seductive scent there is no way for it to relinquish its grasp, and Teezy wouldn’t have it any other way.

To start, Every scene groans with oppressive dread and glitters with black humour. It's glossy, hypnotic, repellant, cold, annoying, memorable, incoherent and entertaining as writer-director Teezy. It's also self-indulgent, but mostly an absorbing meditation about the business of filmmaking, and Teezy spares no fleck of snow in this near-parody of the craziness that is New Mexico.

A beautiful, woozy mystery for the id.

  2. First I have to say, srsly "inveigled" I don't think that I have even seen that word since I was in college—it definitely made me laugh.

Second, finally someone who truly understands and appreciates art.

You are absolutely right, my film does groan AND it glitters.

Although we're going to have to talk about this "self-indulgent" shit—I'm just giving the people what they want—a glimpse into the life of Teeze.

Your lucubration is much appreciated and does not seem even slightly amphigoric. ;-)

  3. Well, AB really summed it up! :D
I was having a mini rave in the study to that soundtrack.
Snow is so puuurdy. It's a bit of a novelty in these parts. I've never even seen it in Real Life!

  4. Hey Dolly-

Yeah, you can always count on Ahole for some serious funny.

I am glad you liked the soundtrack—I plan on handing out glow sticks and stripper glitter to the audience when the film reaches theaters.

Snow is pretty unless you have to drive in it every day—but I do like having all four seasons and can't imagine winter without the white stuff.

  5. Consider this: 3-D. It's here, it's hot, it's now! Srsly.

...and why do I smell Funyons...

  6. Mick, you read my mind. I have been trying to find the 3-D button on my video camera but haven't been able to. I am beginning to think that my camera doesn't have one.

I am sure it's a conspiracy by the Disney corp to keep technology out of the hands of independent film makers like me—Mickey just can't stand the competition.
